This test is available in the following locations:

Referral

In order to have a DEXA scan you are required to either complete a simple self referral questionnaire, or upload a letter from your medical professional. This can be done after booking, but needs to be completed before your appointment.

• Scans must be booked by the person being scanned
• You must not have had DEXA scan in the last 8 weeks
• You must not be pregnant
• You must be 18 or over
• You must not weigh more than 204 Kg (450 Lb / 32 Stone) as this is the limit of our equipment
• Leave at least 7 days after medical imaging with contrast, iodine or barium
• It's also worth remembering that consistency is key: try to scan under the exact same conditions as your last scan. We recommend sticking to the same time and place as your previous scan.

VO2 Max Type

We recommend that most people perform VO2 Max tests on a treadmill.

Very experienced cyclists can optionally use our stationary bike.
