It is recommended that you have your VO2 Max test done at a similar time of day that you are used to training at. Eating either a meal or snack before the test is optional but please ensure there is a two hour gap. Your body should be well hydrated and rested.

You do not need a doctor's referral to book a scan with us (unless you currently have or are recovering from an eating disorder).

When you book your appointment with us, you will be required to complete a self-assessment form which our practitioner will review.

What do I wear for the DEXA Body Composition scan?

Please wear comfortable clothing without metal in. No zippers, poppers, reflective clothing, or underwired bras please as these items will show up on the scan as bone, this can interfere with the results of the overall bone density. Something like leggings or tracksuit bottoms or shorts with a top is ideal.
