What is a DEXA Scan?
A DEXA scan (Dual-energy X-ray absorptiometry) is a low dose X-ray that measures bone density, fat mass and lean mass. Scans take a few minutes, but during your 45 minute appointment we will talk you through your in depth report to ensure you get the most out of your visit. At BodyView we offer two types of DEXA scan a body composition scan and an osteoporosis scan.
