I booked online and the process was very easy with clear instructions. I attended the Bristol centre. It’s in the middle of Bristol with a large car park near by which cost me £2.40. It’s in a shared services building and the receptionist had me sign in and directed me to a nice waiting area in the lobby. Lilly came down shortly and took me up to the testing area, she offered me use of the toilet along with a drink. The induction process was really good explaining to me what was going to happen she also noticed I had reflective logo on my shorts and offered me a gown to wear which was really kind. I was weighed and had my height measured before going into the machine Lilly spent the time to make sure I was well positioned. The scan took about 3 minutes After the scan Lilly went through the results with me explaining each step and what it meant. This wasn’t the first dexa I have had. I have scored it a 4 as I am not sure how accurate the results are it had my body fat at 11% where as previously been leaner than currently as just off a bulk and had higher body fat. I was expecting off current condition to be between 16-20%. I have booked another one so will see what that comes back as in 3-6 months

Saleh was great at explaining the process and guiding me through the full package and easy to talk for the results section of the appointment. The Richmond site is not easy to get to but it open at the weekend and has provides every service.

My first DEXA scan (full body composition). I wanted some detailed analysis after losing 44lb over 18 months through nutrition, lots of walking and strength training. The booking and scan process was very easy and excellent communication on the lead up to the scan. (How it would work, directions, reminders as it got close to the appointment and process). Nice premises at Guildford and good parking. Jenna met me and carried out the scan, she was friendly and professional, explained how it would work etc and then went through the results report in detail, in an easy to understand format and explanation. Can't thank Jenna enough, made it a very pleasant experience. Definitely worth doing and showed how inaccurate my home 'Smart scales' are. I will definitely use this company again for a follow up when the time is right and very highly recommend their service.

Today was a brilliant experience.I paid for the Dexa Athlete Bundle. Sean was fantastic.He explained every step and answered all my questions. I found it to be very interesting and has given me a better insight into what’s going on with my body . I definitely recommend this place. If you do have drive in there is parking right behind the building.

Last month, l finally got round to fixing an appointment for myself to get tests done at BODYVIEW in Richmond. I paid for the Athlete bundle which included the DEXA bone, body comp and VO2 Max. The pre-arrival instructions were to wear close fitting clothes and not eat 4 hours before arrival and no exercise beforehand either. I arrived in time to meet Ashley who patiently administered each of my tests over a period of about 2 hours and then afterwards gave me a comprehensive run-down of my test results – all presented on a screen in their conference room. It was very relaxed and there was no rush whatsoever to get me out after the tests were done. The DEXA osteo, body comp and VO2 Max were the tests l was particularly concerned about. Viewing the results on the screen alongside Ashley’s explanation and response to my questions, helped me gain good insights into the different aspects of my health. Fast forward a few weeks and l’m incorporating into my life the very practical advice given about increased protein intake, strength training and intervals training and looking forward to good results next time.
